Encode, Decode and Hash
These tools convert and fingerprint data. Encode or decode Base32, Base64 and Base64url, read a Basic Auth header, hash text with SHA-256, compute or check an HMAC, convert Unix timestamps, and make UETR-format values.
Tools in this group
- Base32 Decode and Encode — Paste Base32 to decode it, or switch to encode.
- Base64 to JSON Decoder — Paste Base64 or Base64url to decode it and read the JSON inside.
- Base64url Encode and Decode — Encode or decode URL-safe Base64 and see the standard form next to it.
- Basic Auth Decode and Encode — Decode a Basic Authorization header, or build one from a username and password.
- Hash 256 Online (SHA256 Hash Generator) — Type or paste text to get its SHA-256 hash, and the other SHA hashes too.
- Hex to ASCII — Paste hex bytes, pick ASCII, UTF-8 or Latin-1, and read the decoded text, with control characters made visible and an optional byte-by-byte table.
- Hex to Decimal — Type a hex, decimal, binary or octal number and get all four bases at once, the signed two's complement reading and the step-by-step working.
- HMAC SHA256 Generator — Enter a message and a key to get its HMAC, or paste an expected signature to check it.
- UETR Generator — Create UETR-format values, or paste one to check its format.
- Unix Timestamp Converter — Convert an epoch timestamp to a date, or a date to a timestamp.
